How are Progressive Readers different from Readers?
Readers feature one strength in the entire lens while Progressives offer no correction at the top that transitions into a full reading strength at the bottom, allowing you to see clearly at multiple distances.
Why do Progressive Readers cost more?
The specially designed advanced lens offers a blended transition of multiple strengths, offering all-day convenience.
Are they hard to get used to?
Some people need a short adjustment period (a few days to a week), but most adapt quickly. We recommend wearing them consistently to get used to the natural movement between viewing zones.
Can I use Progressives instead of my regular glasses?
Progressive Readers are especially useful for up-close tasks and multitasking. They do not correct distance vision and should not replace prescription lenses.
How do I know which strength to choose?
Choose your regular Reader strength.
I am a quarter strength, how do I know which strength to pick if mine is not available?
We recommend starting with the lower strength first and then moving to the higher strength if needed.
What is the strength of the ‘intermediate’ zone?
Typically, the intermediate zone will be roughly half the strength of the reading strength purchased.
